Who can write for us
Lawyers, barristers, solicitors, paralegals, law lecturers, researchers, expert witnesses and legal technology professionals. Law students are welcome to pitch opinion pieces with a clear, well-sourced argument.
Submission guidelines
Length and format
- 1,200 to 2,000 words, original and not published anywhere else
- Plain English with short paragraphs, clear subheadings and sources linked
- Sent as a Google Doc or Word file, with a 50-word author bio and a headshot
Links and disclosure
- Up to two relevant links, including one in your author bio
- No affiliate links, promotional copy or links to unrelated websites
- Tell us about any client, commercial or personal interest in the topic
What we do not accept
- Articles written mainly to promote a firm, product or service
- Content generated by AI tools without substantial human expertise and editing
- Commentary on live cases in which you or your firm are involved
How the process works
